SATO, who won a silver medal in the second round of the Grand Prix Figure Skating Series in Canada

SATO took second place overall and won a silver medal in the men's singles at the second round of the ISU (International Skating Union) Grand Prix Figure Skating Series in Canada, which was held from October 26 to 27 Japan time. In the short program, SATO succeeded in all three jumps and got high GEO (Grade of Execution) for his expressive skills that he has put his energy into, placing him in second place with 96.52 points. In the free skating program, he attempted a challenging composition, putting in three different quadruple jumps four times. However, he fell on the quadruple lutz at the beginning and on the triple axel in the latter half, and finished fourth in the program with 164.64 points. However, with a total of 261.16 points, he came second overall, winning a silver medal.
SATO will participate in the sixth round of the Grand Prix Figure Skating Series in China.
