2024 Meiji University Meiji High School Graduate Commendation Ceremony offers awards to 28 graduates, including those who passed the national bar examination

Meiji University Meiji High School held its 2024 Graduate Commendation Ceremony on November 9. This award honors graduates who have continued to work hard after graduation from Meiji High School and have made outstanding achievements in a wide range of fields, including academia, culture, art and sports, and offers awards to them as a role model for current students. In the 13th ceremony, 28 graduates were selected.

The ceremony, held at the University Hall on the Surugadai Campus, was attended by Board of Trustees Chairman YANAGIYA Takashi, President UENO Masao, corporate executives and university officials, and the High School’s Principal IKEGAMI Tetsushi, to congratulate the graduates. Following speeches by Board of Trustees Chairman YANAGIYA, President UENO, and Executive Trustee (Academic Affairs) TAKEMOTO Tamotsu, Principal IKEGAMI handed a certificate of commendation to each of the graduates and sent the following message, looking forward to their further success in the future: “I would like you to return to Meiji High School sometimes and show your achievements to staff members and current students. And I hope you will continue to flourish as a first-class person.”

MIWA Kaho (graduated from Meiji High School in 2017 and graduated early from the Pre-Law School Course, Department of Law, School of Law in 2020), who spoke on behalf of the awarded graduates, expressed her gratitude as follows: “I was able to continue my efforts until today because of the indomitable spirit I acquired from the teachers at Meiji High School and the presence of my friends at Meiji High School.”
