Associate Professor KOIKE Yuya at the Department of Applied Chemistry, the School of Science and Technology received the FY2024 Radiation Safety Management Incentive Award from the Radiation Safety Management Committee of the Japan Radioisotope Association. The award ceremony was held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the FY2024 Annual Meeting of the Radiation Safety Management Committee (Agatanomori Culture Hall , Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture).
Associate Professor KOIKE Yuya has worked on radiation safety management for 18 years, focusing on human resource development. In addition to radiation education at his laboratory, Associate Professor KOIKE was highly evaluated for his educational and research activities. In past annual meetings, students taught by Associate Professor KOIKE have received the Grand Prize and the Grand Challenge Prize .
