[Graduate School of Agriculture] IKEDA Yuzuki receives the Student Outstanding Presentation Award at the 2024 Korea-Japan Joint Symposium On Nematology

IKEDA Yuzuki, a first-year doctoral student at the Agriculture Program, the Graduate School of Agriculture (Nematology Laboratory, Associate Professor SHINYA Ryoji), won the Student Outstanding Presentation Award at the 2024 Korea-Japan Joint Symposium On Nematology held in Busan, South Korea, from September 5 to 6, 2024.


IKEDA’s presentation subject is “Hybrids detection between Bursaphelenchus xylophilus and B. mucronatus using MIG-seq,” in which she used the genome-wide method, MIG-seq, to discover hybrids between Bursaphelenchus xylophilus and its relatives in the field environment.
