The Graduate School of Professional Accountancy held a special class for elementary school students titled "Summer Social Studies Class 2025 for Elementary School Students" at the Surugadai Campus, Academy Commons on August 1.
The Summer Social Studies Class was organized by the Graduate School of Professional Accountancy with the aim of helping participating children deepen their understanding of various issues and challenges in modern society. This year’s theme was: “What Will Our Future Society Be Like? – Schools? Jobs? Let’s Take a Look at the Big Changes in Our Lives!” Professor YOSHIMURA Takashi gave the lecture, which was attended by about 30 elementary school students and their parents or guardians.
During the lecture, Professor Yoshimura introduced case studies to encourage students to think about “What kinds of changes will occur in our society and daily lives 30 years from now?” The participating children actively engaged in the discussion, asking many questions and showing an eagerness to learn. After the lecture, Professor Yoshimura presented each participant with a certificate of completion and a commemorative gift. Everyone took a commemorative photo with our university’s official mascot, Meijiro. The event was a cheerful and memorable learning experience.
