[Baseball Club] Wins 44th Championship in the Tokyo Big6 Baseball League 2025 Autumn Season - First in Five Seasons

Meiji University's Baseball Club secured its 44th overall championship by defeating Waseda University 1–0 in the second game of their series in the Tokyo Big6 Baseball Autumn League, claiming their first league title in five seasons since the Spring 2023 season.
 
Heading into the game with seven consecutive wins since the start of the season, Meiji needed just one more victory to clinch the title. In the bottom of the 5th inning, team captain KIMOTO Keiichi (4th year in the School of Political Science and Economics) delivered a timely RBI double with one out and a runner on second, giving Meiji a 1–0 lead.

The team held onto the narrow margin for the remainder of the game, securing a clean 1–0 win. Despite remaining games scheduled for the following weeks, Meiji completed an undefeated 8–0 run, officially sealing the championship.
