Shooting Club participated in the 2025 All Japan Collegiate Sports Shooting Championships (72nd Men’s Overall / 38th Women’s Overall), held from October 23 to 26 at the Tochigi Rifle Shooting Range in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. The team achieved remarkable results, claiming the women’s overall title for the eighth consecutive year (15th overall) and the men’s overall title for the fourth consecutive year (30th overall).
Individual performances were also outstanding. TAKAOKA Yusuke (1st year, School of Political Science and Economics), set a new tournament record and won the 10m Air Rifle Men’s 60-shot Standing event. NOBATA Misaki (4th year, School of Commerce), set a new Japanese record and won the 10m Air Rifle Women’s 60-shot Standing event, and also claimed victory in the 50m Rifle Women’s 3-Position 60-shot event. SEKIGUCHI Jiei (4th year, School of Political Science and Economics), won the 50m Rifle Men’s 3-Position 60-shot event.
Additionally, NAGAYA Kohaku (2nd year, School of Global Japanese Studies), set new junior national records in both the 50m Rifle Men’s 3-Position 60-shot and 50m Rifle Men’s Prone 60-shot events, showcasing the team’s overall high level of competitive performance.
