Sato, who won bronze at the GP Final for the second consecutive year

SATO Shun (4th year, School of Political Science and Economics), won the bronze medal for the second consecutive year in the men’s singles event at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, held from December 4 to 7 in Nagoya.
He set a new season’s best in the short program, scoring 98.06 points to place second. In the free skating, he delivered a flawless performance and marked the moment with a triumphant, powerful fist pump.
Sato aims to earn a spot at the Milano-Cortina Olympic Games based on the results of this Grand Prix Final combined with his performance at the 94th All-Japan Figure Skating Championships, which will be held from December 19 to 21.
