Commemorative photo with three professors
On December 9, 2024, 25 graduate students on the MBA program of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) visited the Liberty Tower on the Surugadai Campus to take special lectures by professors from the School of Commerce.
IIMB is one of the top business schools in India, and these special lectures were part of IIMB’s week-long study tour in Japan. Special lectures by Meiji University faculty members have been held since 2019, and this was the fourth time.
Professor MACHIDA Ippei giving a lecture to IIMB graduate students
At the beginning of the lectures, Professor NAKABAYASHI Mariko, Dean of the School of Commerce, gave a welcome address to the IIMB graduate students. Lectures were given on three themes: “Logistics as the valued service” by Professor MACHIDA Ippei, “Board Diversity in Japanese Corporations” by Associate Professor NISHI Takahiro, and “Shopping Refugees in Japan: Discussion” by Professor TAKEMURA Masaaki. Lectures based on the areas of expertise of each faculty member led to a lively exchange of opinions with the graduate students.
