[Golf Club] CHAKI Shio makes a courtesy call and reports on her victory in the 7th Japan Female Student Golf Championship for the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Cup

On December 23, CHAKI Shio of the Golf Club, a first-year student of the School of Commerce, made a courtesy call to President UENO Masao, Chairman of Board of Trustees YANAGIYA Takashi, Vice President ISHIZU Toshie, Executive trustee (Student Affairs) KONISHI Tokuou, and Executive trustee (General Affairs) KISHIGAMI Kenji at the Surugadai Campus. From the Golf Club, in addition to CHAKI Shio, the following members took part in the courtesy call: General Manager HARADA Susumu (Professor of School of Business Administration), Head Coach ENOMOTO Takayuki (graduate of the School of Political Science and Economics in 1994), Chairman of the Meiji University alumni association NAGAO Mutsuko (graduate of the School of Arts and Letters in 1985), and spokesperson SATO Hayato (a second-year student of the School of Law).

CHAKI participated in and won the 7th Japan Female Student Golf Championship for the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Cup held at Miyazaki Lakeside Golf Club (Kiyotake-cho, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture) from Tuesday, November 26 to Friday, November 29.
At the courtesy call, General Manager HARADA Susumu (Professor of School of Business Administration) reported on CHAKI's performance, and then CHAKI expressed her joy at winning the championship in the cup and her ambition to win the league and the Japan Women’s Amateur Golf Championship as her goals for next year, and to pass the professional test as her future goals.


“I want to do my best so that I can both play golf and study,” said CHAKI
