Since the national average examination pass rate for the Clinical Psychologist Qualification Exam is around 60% and that for the Certified Psychologist Qualification Exam is around 70% every year, our results (100% examination pass rate for both exams) were far above the national average.
To celebrate this achievement, a celebration was held at KISHIMOTO Tatsuo Hall at Surugadai Campus on January 25. It was a big celebration attended by university officials including President UENO Masao, Executive Trustee of Academic Affairs TAKEMOTO Tamotsu, Dean of the Graduate School INUI Koji, Dean of School of Arts and Letters TAMOGAMI Kenjiro, Dean of Graduate School of Arts and Letters MIZUNO Hiroko, members of the Meiji University Clinical Psychologists Association , which is organized by graduates, along with graduate students.
President UENO offered words of encouragement, saying, “I hope that you will continue to help as many people as possible to make life easier in society, carrying out your original intention.” MATSUSHITA Daisuke, secretary of the Meiji University Clinical Psychologists Association , encouraged the successful examinees saying, “Psychological work is often difficult, but let’s do our best together, encouraging each other with the members of Meiji University Clinical Psychologists Association.”
Many of our Clinical Psychology graduates in Meiji University have both clinical and certified psychologist qualifications, and are currently working as highly specialized professionals at medical institutions, educational counseling centers, and school counselors.
