[School of Science and Technology] Smart Mechatronics Laboratory (Professor ITAMI Taku) wins Excellent Paper Award from the Biomedical Fuzzy Systems Association

A paper from the Smart Mechatronics Laboratory (ITAMI Taku Laboratory) in the Department of Electronics and Bioinformatics, School of Science and Technology, has received the Excellent Paper Award from the Biomedical Fuzzy Systems Association. The award‑winning research focused on a smart device designed to improve posture and reduce lumbar load. In hospital trials involving actual nursing staff, the degree of posture improvement achieved with the device was highly evaluated.
