Izumi Campus received a letter of appreciation from the Tokyo Fire Department on November 10, 2025 for its contributions to public relations efforts. Izumi Campus has been recognized for its ongoing fire safety and prevention awareness activities targeting students and local residents. These include annual cooperation with the Suginami Fire Station’s Firefighting Fair and exhibition at the fire safety booth during the Meiji University Festival. Upon presenting the letter of appreciation, the Tokyo Fire Department expressed gratitude for actively promoting fire prevention outreach on a regular basis and contributing to the safety and security of the local community.
Izumi Campus goes beyond these awareness campaigns and cooperation with the fire department, regularly conducting fire response drills and fire extinguisher training for staff and security personnel. It strives daily to enhance fire prevention awareness in order to protect students and the campus.
