TAKAGI Shinnosuke, a first-year master’s student on the Network Design Program, Graduate School of Advanced Mathematical Sciences (TAMURA Shigeru laboratory), received the Tamura Memorial Award from the Consortium for Electric Power Technology held at Waseda University on March 4, 2026. This award is given to students whose research achievements on power technology have been recognized by academic societies or similar organizations.
TAKAGI received the YPC Encouragement Award for the research achievement titled below, an award given for an outstanding poster presentation at the 2025 IEEJ Power and Energy Society Conference held at the University of the Ryukyus on September 17, 2025. This accomplishment qualified him to receive the Tamura Memorial Award.
“Study on EV Sharing Utilizing the Electricity Market and Renewable Energy” – IEEJ Power and Energy Society Conference
TAKAGI Shinnosuke, TAMURA Shigeru
With the expansion of renewable energy deployment and the end of the fixed-price feed-in tariff (FIT) for residential photovoltaic (PV) power generation, the so-called “post-FIT”, new social challenges have emerged. In addition, global adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) is rapidly advancing as part of efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. In this presentation, they examined the potential to reduce charging costs in EV sharing by utilizing post-FIT PV power for EV charging and optimizing EV repositioning through autonomous driving and charging scheduling while accounting for fluctuations in electricity market prices.
