The School of Science and Technology and the School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences each held an award ceremony for the “Masao Mukaidono Fund.” This fund was established in fiscal year 2015 with donations from Emeritus Professor MUKAIDONO Masao, former Dean of the School of Science and Technology, to the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Frontier Media Science. It aims to promote and further develop education and research in both departments.
In the Department of Computer Science, in accordance with Emeritus Professor Mukaidono’s belief in the importance of studying a wide range of fields, the award is presented to fourth-year students with outstanding GP (Grade Point) scores at the end of their third year.
In the Department of Frontier Media Science, the award is presented to fourth-year students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and outstanding research results.
