FUTAMI Mona, a second-year master's student in the Agriculture Program, Graduate School of Agriculture, and a member of the Vegetable Horticulture Laboratory (Professor MOTOKI Satoru), received the Best Poster Award (ISHS Young Minds Award) for her research presentation at The 16th International Asparagus Symposium, held from June 22 to 24, 2026, at Wonkwang University, Republic of Korea. The International Asparagus Symposium is an international conference held once every four years. Japan previously hosted the symposium in 2001.
