During the roundtable discussion with university students, the junior high school students asked questions about topics of particular interest to them, such as choosing a future path and what they should do during junior high and high school. The participating university students offered advice such as, “As a student at an affiliated school, you should broaden your horizons and actively participate in a variety of opportunities like today’s event.” Reflecting on their own experiences, another student commented, “I wish I had studied English and mathematics more diligently when I was in junior high school.”
The campus visit was an opportunity for the participating junior high school students to increase their motivation to study and consider their future career paths.
