Meiji University newly concluded an inter-university partnership agreement with University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.  Meiji University now has 220 partner universities (including partnerships between departments) in 40 countries.
 

Visit by the delegation from the Central University of Finance and Economics in China
A delegation from the Central University of Finance and Economics in China visited the Surugadai Campus on June 26. They met with President Kenichi Fukumiya and Vice President Etsuko Katsu (in charge of international exchange) and exchanged opinions on future programs between the two universities.


Basketball exchange with Peking University and Tsinghua University in China
About 30 members of the basketball teams of Peking and Tsinghua Universities, the two most prestigious higher education institutions in China, visited the Surugadai Campus on July 3. They held inter-league basketball matches with about 25 members of the male and female varsity basketball teams.
This delegation was invited to Japan as part of the JENESYS 2.0 program run by the Japanese government to promote youth interaction between countries in the Asia Pacific region. The delegation visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Shiga, and Nara from July 2 to July 9, deepening their understanding towards Japan through sports exchanges, home-stays, company tours, etc.


Visit by the Ambassador of Serbia and Rector of the University of Belgrade
H.E. Mrs. Bojana Adamović-Dragović, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Japan and Prof. Dr. Vladimir Bumbaširević, Rector of the University of Belgrade visited the Surugadai Campus on July 9, where they had a meeting with Vice President Etsuko Katsu (in charge of international exchange) and Professor Shizuko Kato of the School of Business Administration at the Liberty Tower VIP room.
