Ambassador Sato from Embassy of Japan in Thailand Celebrating the Opening of the Center
On August 5, Meiji University held an opening ceremony and a reception at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok to commemorate the opening of the “Meiji University ASEAN Center” (Bangkok, Thailand), which has become the third overseas base of the University. Approximately 100 people, including Chairman Kensou Hidaka of the Board of Trustees, President Kenichi Fukumiya, Meiji University faculty members, officials from the Embassy of Japan, university faculty members from universities in Thailand and other South East Asian countries, and locally residing Meiji University students, gathered together and celebrated our new step “To the World” in a grand manner.
