On April 10, five delegates led by President Thomas Parham of California State University, Dominguez Hills ("CSUDH") visited Surugadai Campus to exchange views with President Dairokuno and other delegates from Meiji Universities.
 

President Dairokuno expressed his intention to facilitate student exchanges as well as faculty exchanges further. He mentioned following the signing of the MoU in 2018, faculty exchanges through online joint classes “International Virtual Exchange Learning” were proposed by the CSUDH and started in 2020 and student exchanges could have been started in Fall 2022 after the easing of immigration restrictions due to the Covid-19. President Parham also showed his intention to facilitate student exchange, and faculty and researcher exchange further and noted that he hopes providing study abroad opportunities to CSUDH students, with a wide diversity of racial and economic background, can be good help for them to develop better careers after graduation. Dean Arakawa also proposed ideas of student and researcher exchanges in the fields of computer science and cyber security and showed intention for further discussions each other.

After the meeting, a campus tour was held for the delegates, which included a class visit (by Prof. Tsuyoshi Shimada, School of Information and Communication) and a studio visit in Building No. 12, and discussions with a representative of the University's Information Media Department.

Founded in 1960 and a member of the California State University System, the university is comprised of six colleges and offers 51 bachelor's degree programs and 24 master's degree programs, and has produced approximately 110,000 graduates. Since signing the MoU with Meiji University in 2018, faculty exchanges through joint classes and student exchanges have taken place.
