President Huan-Chao KEH and his delegations of Tamkang University visited Surugadai Campus on February 28, 2025. They exchanged views on the future collaboration with President UENO Masao, Vice President (International Affairs) KOMA Kyoko, Professor ETO Hideki, Director of the International Student Center, Professor TANAKA Tomoaki of the School of Science and Technology, Professor SHO Yutaka of the School of Science and Technology, and Senior Assistant Professor NAKAYA Chiharu of the Organization for International Collaboration.
President Ueno gave a welcome address and mentioned that Meiji University and Tamkang University signed an Agreement of Cooperation in 2013, and in recent years, there have been various exchanges through short-term programs between the School of Science and Technology, Meiji University and Tamkang University. He also mentioned the long-standing active exchanges between the Rover Scouts Clubs of both universities and expressed his appreciation for the visit to Meiji University.
In response, President Huan-Chao Keh expressed his hope that this visit would initiate discussions on building a platform for educational and research exchange between the two universities, starting with cooperation in student exchange between Meiji University and Tamkang University.
In a warm atmosphere, active discussions were held on how to deepen exchanges between the two universities.
