School of Agriculture
On January 16, 2014, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Meiji University and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
Established in 1945 and headquartered in Rome, Italy, the FAO is one of the specialized organizations attached to the United Nations. It currently has a membership of 196 countries. It engages in the collection of information, provision of technology, and other activities aimed at enabling people around the world to have a sufficient supply of food. The Meiji University School of Agriculture has been partnering with the FAO in various programs since 2013.
