Head coach TSUBA Kyohei

This season, we have played with the goal of winning the All Japan University Sport Shooting Championship while tying to form various teams comprising different members to finalize regular players for the Championship. I was not so confident because we changed team members by game. In addition, the men’s team had not won since the Kanto Student Rifle Shooting Championship Spring Meeting. Each student, however, steadily improved his/her skills, and their morale was also raised to a level where everyone could become a regular player. Thus, I believed that this team would achieve great things. Such hard work by the students led to our results of wining the men’s and women’s overall championships for the second consecutive time and winning the women’s overall championship for the six consecutive time, which was a historical achievement for the Shooting Club of Meiji University. Lastly, I would like to praise the efforts that all of the students have made and thank Meiji University and everyone involved in our club for their support and encouragement.

Captain OSHIO Yuto
As a captain, I am relieved we won the men’s and women’s overall championships for the second year in a row. As we saw many of our members advance to the finals, some of the players displayed excellent performance as individuals as well. I would like the club members to keep competing with one another and aim to win the next year's Championship under the motto of “Invincible Meiji.”
