Senior Assistant Professor TODA Yasuka selected as one of the “100 Asian Scientists”
Senior Assistant Professor TODA Yasuka from School of Agriculture, Meiji University (Food Functional Chemistry Laboratory) was selected as one of the researchers of the Asian Scientist 100 list (2023 Edition) of Asian Scientist Magazine.
Asian Scientist Magazine is a science and technology magazine from Singapore which, every year since 2016, has compiled a list of Asian scientists who made remarkable achievements in each research area. Senior Assistant Professor TODA’s achievements of research on the evolution of taste receptors in birds and primates were recognized with the 2022 Brilliant Female Researchers Award (The Jun Ashida Award) hosted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and other accolades, that led to the selection at this time.
On receiving the award, senior Assistant Professor TODA said, “I feel very honored (by the selection). I would like to further devote myself to research and educational activities.”
