[School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences, Graduate School of Advanced Mathematical Sciences] KIKUCHI Hiroaki Laboratory wins 5th place in the overall category for the PWS Cup 2024 held by the Computer Security Group of the Information Processing Society of Japan

At the PWS Cup 2024 held by the Computer Security Group of the Information Processing Society of Japan at the Kobe Convention Center on Thursday, October 24, 2024, Suteteko Thieves, the mixed team of TASHIRO Taisei, MIURA Koki, MORO Ryuta, YAMAMOTO Yuta, KAWAMURA Shinta, SEKIGUCHI Tomohiro, NOMURA Mei, TOMA Ryotaro, Professor KIKUCHI Hiroaki, and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation won the 5th place in the overall category. A total of 22 teams from universities and companies, including overseas teams, including Taiwan, participated in the contest.

PWS Cup 2024 is a contest between big data anonymous processing technology for the purpose of developing anonymous processing technology and re-identification risk. Participants compete on technology to process a data set of movie viewing histories safely and usefully.
