Jul. 25, 2024

TAGUCHI Yuto (Kikuchi Lab), a 2nd-year PhD student of the Frontier Media Science Program, the Graduate School of Advanced Mathematical Sciences, received the Young Researcher Award at the DICOMO2024 Symposium sponsored by the Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ).

The awards that are given to presenters under the age of 30 whose presentations are judged outstanding, were selected by a vote of the participants.

TAGUCHI presented a paper titled “Investigation of Persona-Based Targeted Advertising Using Header Bidding Information.” In this study, he focused on targeted advertising on the Web and observed bidding information in the header bidding (HB), a new bidding method, to clarify how bidding prices and the number of bids change depending on browsing history and whether ads are clicked or not. In the future, further analysis is expected to improve the transparency of online ad delivery.
