The Kikuchi Lab of the Department of Frontier Media Science, School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences, hosted a joint workshop on information security and privacy on January 8, 2024 at the Nakano Campus of Meiji University with Professor Chun-I Fan of National Sun Yat-sen University of Taiwan and his laboratory students.
Graduate students, including three Ph.D. students, presented their latest research findings on privacy-enhancing technologies for AI, development of privacy-friendly and unforgeable devices, identification of multiple pedestrians using cameras and distance sensors, and hidden session replay attacks. Undergraduate poster sessions were well attended, with students from Japan and Taiwan exchanging information on research and the latest subculture topics.
We plan to visit Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for the next joint workshop.
