[Graduate School of Science and Technology] SATO Naoki wins 43rd Student Paper Award from the Operations Research Society of Japan

SATO Naoki, a first-year doctoral student in the Mathematical Optimization Laboratory, Graduate School of Science and Technology (Professor IIDUKA Hideaki), receives the 43rd Student Paper Award by the Operations Research Society of Japan (ORSJ). The award ceremony took place on September 11, 2025, at the Satake Memorial Hall, Hiroshima University.

The Student Paper Award is presented by ORSJ to recognize outstanding research in the field of operations research conducted by students. Eligible submissions include undergraduate theses and master’s theses submitted during the academic year.
In this 43rd edition, 13 papers were submitted for consideration, and following a rigorous two-stage review process, five papers were selected for the award.
