Nawara Mahmood Broti, a third-year doctoral student at the Health Science&Medical Engineering Laboratory (Professor ONO Yumie), has been awarded the 2025 Paper Award at the JPComp competition organized by the IEEE EMBS Japan Chapter.
The JPComp Paper Award is a competition targeting young members under 35 years old belonging to Japanese universities and research institutions who have submitted papers to IEEE EMBC, the flagship conference in the field of biomedical engineering under IEEE. The award selection is based on a comprehensive evaluation of the research content, the quality of the paper’s presentation, and the performance during the conference’s oral presentation and Q&A sessions. This year, three recipients, including Broti, were honored.
