March 2024 graduates of Meiji Business School, ISHII Takuma and YAMAMOTO Yoshiko won FY2024 Tax Research and Literature Awards (Encouragement Prizes) for their master’s theses titled “Discussion on treatment of foreign entities under Japan’s tax law” and “Consideration on new tax system for creation of social value of art works: Necessity of definition of art works and abolition of concept of being necessary for everyday life,” respectively. The Awards are given to notably excellent master’s theses written primarily by graduate students. There were over 150 applications in FY2024. Graduates of our Business School have received the awards for five consecutive years since FY2020.
Meiji Business School focuses on fostering tax accountants with knowledge of management who are involved in the management and consultation of family businesses and startup businesses. It provides guidance for the partial exemption of tax accountant exam subjects through seminars (Thesis Tutorial).
