Bronze medalist Shun Sato celebrates his first-ever podium finish at the World Championships

At the World Figure Skating Championships 2026 (March 24–29, Prague, Czech Republic), organized by the International Skating Union, SATO Shun ( fourth-year, School of Political Science and Economics) won the bronze medal in the men’s singles event. As a result of Sato’s performance, Japan secured the maximum allocation of three entries for next season’s World Championships.
