KATSUMATA Yukitaka, a second-year master’s student (at the time of presentation) in the Network Design Program, Graduate School of Advanced Mathematical Sciences, received the Student Encouragement Award at the Technical Committee on Optical Fiber Technologies (OFT) of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE).
This award is presented to outstanding general presentations submitted to the research meetings during the year (January–December), and is open to young researchers (under 40 years of age) and students.
