[Skating Club] Shun Sato wins bronze in the Figure Skating Four Continents Championships

Shun Sato (1st year in the School of Political Science and Economics) of the skating club won the bronze medal for third place in the men’s competition at the ISU (International Skating Union) Figure Skating Four Continents Championships 2023 held on February 9 and 11, 2023 in Colorado, USA.

In the short program held on February 9, he fell on his quadruple toe loop but landed other jumps to place sixth with 80.81 points.
In the following free program on the 11th, he succeeded in the initial quadruple Lutz, followed by a quadruple-double toe loop sequence and a triple axel in the second half of the performance, in which the base point was 1.1 times. He scored 178.33 points in the free program, making a total of 259.14 points, and moved up three places to take the bronze medal.
