The Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA), Meiji University and Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) have been collaborating to offer the International Double Master’s Program (DMP) since 2010.

This academic year, one student from UTM, who enrolled at our university in April, came to Japan and participated in face-to-face classes with his academic supervisor, with whom they usually communicate online, and intensive lectures conducted by GSBA professors.

In addition, a special workshop was held to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the core principles of the Toyota Production System (TPS), particularly its continuous improvement (Kaizen) methodology, through hands-on and interactive sessions.

The workshop was attended by students participating in this year’s Double Master’s Program from the GSBA, as well as students from other graduate schools. The event also served as a valuable platform for cultural and academic exchange between international and Japanese students.

The participating student aims to obtain master’s degrees from both our university and UTM by submitting a master’s thesis to each institution as part of the Double Degree Program.
