Professor Heri Hermansyah (Dean and Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) and Dr. Eng. Arief Udhiarto (Department Head and Lecturer of Electrical Engineering) of Universitas Indonesia visited Surugadai Campus on January 24th, 2024. They exchanged views on legal system on Cybersecurity in Japan with Professor YUASA Harumichi (Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Global Governance).
This visit was conducted as part of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Project for Human Resources Development for Cyber Security Professionals. Prof. YUASA provided an overview of Japan’s legal framework concerning personal information protection, privacy, cybercrime, AI governance, and other related topics, followed by a discussion session.
