[Graduate School of Global Governance] Graduate School of Global Governance co-hosted a joint seminar with the University of Nîmes in France

On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Meiji University’s Graduate School of Global Governance co-hosted a joint seminar with the University of Nîmes in France under the theme “Challenges in Modern Governance: The Cases of France and Japan.”
A total of five researchers from both universities delivered individual presentations as follows:
〇Challenges for local governments in securing human resources
〇The constitutional challenges in France and Japan
〇Challenges in Environmental Policy – In the Field of Climate Change -
〇The use of AI in administration
〇Challenges of Regional Integration in the Era of Post Municipal Mergers
 
Participants at the University of Nîmes venue posed questions, allowing attendees to deepen their understanding of contemporary challenges surrounding governance in both countries.
