[Graduate School of Global Governance] Professor Shunsuke Kimura, Dean of GSGG was invited to Babes-Bolyai University in Romania

On April 20, 2026, Dean of Graduate School of Global Governance, Professor Shunsuke Kimura was invited to Babes-Bolyai University in Romania, where he provided an overview of the Graduate School of Global Governance and delivered a presentation titled “The Japanese Governmental System and Intergovernmental Relations - Current Status and Challenges” at a faculty meeting: Public Administration and Management Department.
 Following this, he delivered a special lecture titled “The Current Issues of Japanese Local Governments” to master’s and doctoral students at the university. Students in the audience asked enthusiastic questions, such as “Why did Japan adopt a Prussian-style constitution when it became a constitutional state?” and “How do citizens view the consolidation of municipalities in Japan?”
   He also had a discussion with Prof. Dan Lazar, Vice-Rector of the BB University regarding future exchanges.
