Professor YUASA Harumichi, Dean of the Graduate School of Governance, visited Mongolia at the invitation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
On June 10, the first public consultation meeting on Mongolia’s new Cyber Resilience Bill was held, where stakeholders engaged in a lively exchange of views on the challenges currently faced in enforcing the existing cybersecurity law and on the new Cyber Resilience Bill.
Dean Yuasa was invited to the meeting as an observer by Mr. Anara, Parliament member and head of the Mongolian Parliament’s Cybersecurity Law Development Sub-Working Group, and presented examples from Japan regarding issues that drew frequent comments from participants.
The Graduate School of Governance Studies accepts international students working in cybersecurity-related fields and will continue to promote cooperation and collaboration with foreign governments regarding cybersecurity.
