Meiji's Graduate School of Governance Studies is exploring collaborations with educational and research institutions abroad. On May 15, 2019, Dean Minamoto and Professor Kato visited the Foreign Trade University (FTU) in Hanoi, Vietnam and signed the technical agreement between our school and the FTU. The agreement stipulates a wide range of possible cooperation, including faculty/student exchanges, joint research, and joint seminars. At the signing ceremony, FTU President Prof. Bui Anh Tuan and our Dean Minamoto discussed concrete ideas for joint actions. Now we have a plan of holding a One-Day Joint Conference at Meiji in the autumn.

Foreign Trade University has long been recognized as one of the nation's top universities in Vietnam. Meiji's Governance Studies School continues to strengthen cooperation with educational and research institutions on public policy in Southeast Asia, and strive to establish the position as the top public policy graduate school in Asia. By doing so we will provide more opportunities of learning the theory and the practice of public policy to our students as well as to thriving young professionals in Asia.
