[ School of Commerce] Sawai Seminar wins Excellence Award at Sport Policy for Japan; SPJ2023

The Team D juniors of the Sawai Seminar of the School of Commerce won the Excellence Award with their “Establish polling places at stadiums: To make more young people vote” at Sport Policy for Japan (SPJ2023) held at Meiji University Izumi Campus and Surugadai Campus on Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29.

At Sport Policy for Japan (SPJ), university students present their research achievements and proposals on Japanese sports policy and business models, which are evaluated and awarded by researchers, practitioners and experts in sports science, sports management and sports policy. SPJ has been held since 2011, and 61 teams (24 universities, about 300 students) participated this year. Eight teams from the Seminar of Associate Professor SAWAI Kazuhiko of the School of Commerce, two teams from the Seminar of Professor GOTO Mitsumasa of the School of Political Science and Economics, and one team from the Seminar of professor TAKAMINE Osamu of the same School participated from Meiji University. The Sawai Seminar won the Grand Award in 2018.
