Jul. 05, 2024

The School of Political Science and Economics (SPSE), Meiji University and Northeastern University have been in partnership and collaborating to mutually offer short-term student exchange programs since 2008. As one of the summer study abroad programs at Northeastern University, the SPSE, Meiji University has been one of the most popular destinations among Northeastern University students.

During this program, the SPSE offers special lectures by the SPSE faculty members and an off-campus tour to National Diet of Japan. In addition, Northeastern University students have an opportunity to interact with SPSE students called “The Supporters” who plan and organize a welcome reception, an overnight workshop at Kiyosato Seminar House of Meiji University, and a farewell reception. Needless to say, these activities have been their great opportunities to exchange cultures and build friendship each other.

This year, 37 students, TAs, and a faculty from Northeastern University visited the SPSE and fully enjoyed their study abroad experiences here at Meiji University.
