Qualities expected for applicants

MBS aims to develop human resources with specialized knowledge / skills, value creativity, broad perspective and advanced ethical sense, leadership, and a global perspective centered on Asia. For entrance examinations, applicants are required to have sufficient motivation and potential as a professional, and the possibility of demonstrating them. Whether or not there is special knowledge and skills related to each field and whether or not there is work experience is not a necessary condition, but in order to develop human resources who are useful in management practice, it is necessary to have a strong awareness of problems in business and management. The reason and career plan are required to be clear.

Target applicants

It is intended for those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from a university, or who are recognized by MBS as having academic ability equivalent to or higher than that. For example, those who are in charge of management for the development of family business, those who are in charge of successors and support, those who are in charge of startup business and innovation including new businesses and second startups, those who are in charge of corporate management and senior executives, overall organizational management. Those who are in charge of business, those who are in charge of occupations that require a high degree of specialization (management consultants, accountants, tax accountants, financial planners, etc.). Work experience is not required.

Notes on the entrance examination

The entrance examination is conducted by document screening and interview. Prior to that, you will be required to submit an explanation (“Research Proposal”) that describes your motivation, purpose of study, and required specialization. In the interview, the viewpoints such as the expressiveness of the content and the clarity of the logic are emphasized based on the aim of this graduate school.
