The Meiji University Japanese Language Program（Winter 2020） which was scheduled to start from February 3rd (Mon) will be cancelled.
The outbreak of new strain of coronavirus-associated pneumonia which has numerously been reported since last December in Wuhan, Fubei Province (People’s Republic of China) has rapidly increased its number in this passed few days. Yesterday, the Japanese government has designated this new strain of coronavirus as special infectious disease.
In response to our government's decision, the Meiji University Japanese Language Education Center has placed the highest priority on ensuring the safety of our participants, and have made a very difficult decision to cancel this program due to the high possibility the program can not be fully and safely conducted as planned.
