Japanese Language Program Placement Test

1 Placement Test Flow（Spring Semester 2023）

 

Step 1.　Japanese Language Program Survey

◆◇ January 16 (Mon.) to February 17 (Fri.) 11:59pm (JST)



-If you wish to take Japanese language program, please respond to the "Japanese Language Program Survey."
- If you do not answer this survey, you will not be able to take any Japanese language courses.
- Please click HERE for the survey form.
*Those who have taken Japanese language courses for Fall 2022, you do not have to answer this survey. Please respond to the one we sent in December.

Step 2.　Placement Test (Meiji University Japanese Language Web Test)

◆◇ February 20 (Mon.) to March 6 (Mon) 11:59pm (JST)

-A password and ID for the web test will be sent to those who responded to the survey.
-The test takes about one hour and can be taken online.

Step 3.　Placement Test (Interview)

◆◇ Wednesday, March 29

-The time of the interview will be announced by e-mail.
-The Interview will be held in person at Meiji University's Surugadai Campus.

Step 4.　Class Annoucement (Orientation)

◆◇ Monday, April 3

-It will be held in person at Meiji University's Surugadai Campus.

Step 5.　Self-enrollment Period

◆◇ April 1 (Sat.) to April 8 (Sat.)

- You will need to "self-enroll" the classes you will take at the Oh-o!Meiji system.
*During the self-enrollment period, course counseling will be provided by the coordinator during lunch break.

Step 6.　Class Starts

◆◇ From Saturday, April 8 -
-Attend the first class of your placed class.

Step 7. 　Course Registration（Audit Regsitration for Auditors)

◆◇ Wednesday, April 12, 5pm (JST)
-Please submit via the online form. Details will be provided to students later.
*For those who have taken Japanese language courses for Spring 2022, please respond to the survey form we emailed in December.
