日本に3ヶ月以上滞在する20歳以上の留学生は、国民年金に加入しなければなりません。住民登録と同時に、お住まいの市区町村の年金窓口で加入手続きを行ってください。

国民年金保険料の支払いについて
Payment of National Pension Premiums
国民年金保険料は期限までにかならず納入してください。未納（保険料を払っていない期間）があると、ビザを更新できない可能性があります。
なお、正規留学生で、前年の所得が一定の金額以下の場合、「学生納付特例」に申請することで、保険料の支払いを猶予（遅らせる）ことができます。
学生納付特例は毎年申請が必要です。詳細は、お住まいの市区町村の年金窓口で確認してください。
Please make sure to pay your National Pension premiums by the deadline. If you have any unpaid premiums, you may not be able to renew your visa.
If you are a regular (degree-seeking) international student and your previous year's income was below a certain amount, you can delay your premium payments by applying for the "Special Payment System for Students."
This application is required annually. Please consult the pension desk at your local municipal office for further information.
