応用言語学 (Applied Linguistics)

Applied Linguistics is an academic field that broadly addresses various real-world issues related to language. This course focuses on Second Language Acquisition (SLA), which aims to explain the mechanisms and processes by which people learn and acquire a second language. The objective of the course is to learn the fundamental theories related to SLA and their applications to foreign language education and learning. The content covered in this course will be beneficial not only for those aiming to become English teachers but also for those interested in Japanese language education and second language learning.
