3月24日、台湾の国立台湾大学文学院の黃慕萱院長ほか4名が、本学を訪問し、文学部教員と意見交換を行いました。
一行は、駿河台キャンパスに立ち寄り、田母神文学部長をはじめとした文学部教員と、今後の研究及び学生交流に関して詳細に話し合いを行いました。
国立台湾大学は、台湾の最高学府として位置付けられる国立の総合大学です。日本統治時代の1928年に旧帝国大学のひとつの台北帝国大学として設立されて以来、現在では台湾だけでなくアジアを代表する大学のひとつでもあります。同大学の文学院は人文社会科学の広範囲にわたる研究・教育に取り組んでいるだけでなく、日本研究・日本語教育学やアジア研究、先住民研究、そして、図書館情報学といった幅広い分野において先駆的な取組みをおこなっています。今後、より一層双方の理解を深め、さらなる交流の促進が期待されています。
Hosted a Delegation from the College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University
On March 24, the School of Arts and Literature hosted Dr. Mu-Hsuan Huang and the delegate from the College of Liberal Arts of the National Taiwan University (NTU) at Meiji University’s Surugadai Campus. Dr. Huang and the delegate were greeted by Dr. Kenjiro Tamogami, exchanged ideas and plans on research and educational collaboration between the two institutions.
NTU is Taiwan’s leading comprehensive university, which was established in 1928 as Taipei Imperial University during the Japanese occupation. It has also grown as one of the leading universities, not only in Asia-Pacific but also in global arena. NTU’s College of Liberal Arts covers a wide range of fields in humanities and social sciences from Taiwanese Studies to the Library Information Sciences, and has engaged in various cutting-edge research and community outreach. We are looking forward to more innovative and original research and educational collaborations with them.
